A Charlie Hebdo roundup

After the recent killing by Islamists at the offices of Charlie Hebdo there have been a number of different responses from the usual raving lunacy talking about how being critical of such behavior is “islamophobic” to more rational responses that call evil what it is. Local SuperversiveSF contributor L. Jagi Lamplighter wrote Nothing Good Ever Happened At the Point of a Gun.

I did see a couple of other ones that I thought were interesting, Men Without Chests: How C.S. Lewis Predicted Charlie Hebdo Censorship by Sean Davis, Free Speech Isn’t by Kate Paulk and finally Sarah A. Hoyt with Je Suis Charlie.

I wonder at what point the wider culture will wake up and finally respond seriously to all this.
