~ Sing to the tune of 99 Bottles of Beer ~ on my to-do list, 83 Writing Projects, edit one down, publish now, 82 Writing Projects on my to-do list…
Okay, that’s really bad and doesn’t sing well. But, you get the point.
My one and only resolution this year is to work through the books and short stories I’ve started over the years, but never quite finished. My husband has been nagging…er…advising me to quit bouncing around and work on one project at a time and not start new ones until I get some finished. So, that’s what I’m doing for 2019. It’s going to be a good and productive year.
Do I really have 83?
Maybe. As I dig through my stash of notebooks and files, I keep finding new ones. I have 27 confirmed that have more than 1000 words written, the rest are story ideas or scraps of a story.
Will I get through all 83 by the end of the year?
Doubt it, but I’m going to try to get through as many as I can before the end of the year. The biggest part of this whole resolution thing is to not add anything new until they are completed. Every last one.
Courage of Martyrs is at the top of the list and will be the only project I work on until it’s finished. Then on to the next one in line.
