Earth’s ‘Other Moon’ and its crazy orbit

An interesting article over at io9 about a second natural satellite that orbits earth with a highly eccentric path. Could be worth a visit one day, despite being only the size of a comet?

Well, except that it isn’t a natural satellite (though it is a natural asteroid), and it does not orbit the earth, it orbits the sun in a complex orbital resonance with the earth. Technically it is a co-orbital object, not a satellite.
